Renee Chong is an esteemed educator with over 16 years of experience in Singapore's education landscape. 

As the Subject Head of Career Guidance and Talent Management, Renee strategically plans the curriculum at crucial junctures within the intensive two-year Singapore Junior College programme. Her focus is on guiding students in deciding on subject combinations and exploring potential career paths through exploratory curriculum, career talks, fairs, and work attachments to various industries.

As the Head of the Integrated Curriculum Department, Renee designs enriched programs tailored for high-ability students. She has initiated international programs to the University of Hong Kong, Nara Super Science High School in Japan, as well as Service Learning Programs to Indonesia, the Philippines, Cambodia, Vietnam, and Thailand. Her signature Service Learning Curriculum is infused with a reflective cycle, enabling students to connect their heads, hearts, and hands, understanding how their actions contribute to society's betterment.

In the last three years of her service, she served at the Headquarters of the Singapore Ministry of Education. She led the senior managements in all five polytechnics to revamp the Polytechnic Foundation Programme. The redesigned program allows students ample time to explore different sectors, better preparing them for the workforce in Singapore.

Renee's expertise also extends to navigating the complexities of admissions to various institutes of higher learning (IHLs). With recent changes in the Singapore secondary landscape, she spearheaded the revamp of admission criteria for the various pathways, ensuring a seamless transition for students seeking further education.
